A major heavyweight rematch is scheduled for this Saturday, as Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker prepare to battle it out at the Manchester Arena.

Breaking down the fight on William Hill’s The Final Round boxing programme, pundit Gareth Davies shared his view with David Alorka that Derek ‘War’ Chisora is the man who will emerge victorious.

“I think Derek wins this time, believe it or not. He looks in phenomenal shape, he always brings war, he’s a moneyweight fighter – it’s a big British ding dong.

“Parker’s an adopted British fighter these days isn’t he? He trains up in Morecambe alongside Tyson Fury, let’s just adopt him as our own.

“It should be a great event, a great fight, like I say I’m piping Chisora to win it this time.”

The last bout between the Zimbabwe-born Londonb-based Chisora and New Zealand-born former WBO title holder Parker saw Parker win by decision – with some, including Chisora, feeling that the Londoner deserved the win.

For the rematch, Parker comes in as favourite with odds of 4/9 whilst Parker is 3/1 outsider – so should Davies’ prediction be true, the bookmakers could be due for some payouts.
